House made of pieces

Unlike modular buildings, some assets are not similar in size. To create buildings from them, you need to change their scale. Do it with your hands for a very long time. The plugin allows you to do this much faster!
As usual, let's start by setting the "Grid Floor" height. You can learn more about this in previous lessons. In my example, for convenience, I also set the size of the "Grid Editor" to 10. And the "Rotation of the Grid Editor" to 45.
Having selected the necessary assets in the content browser, we will create the first floor. To do this, simply place them on the grid and rotate them using the Scroll:
Change the height of the "Floor Grid" again. We use Vertex - V:
Now we can create wall decor. For this, the mod "Additional building parts" is ideal, press Ctrl + A:
But we will quickly find that the left side of the decor does not fit. And it needs to be inverted. To do this, there is "Invert" mod, press Ctrl + I and select the axis of inversion X / Y / Z:
But we quickly realize that the size of the decor does not fit the size of the walls. Therefore, we use the "Bound Scale" mod by pressing Сtrl + S, and select the axis:
Now using this example we can build practically all the other parts of the house. But what if you need to change the scale of assets in which the root point is not on the side, but in the center?
To do this, add all the building parts - Ctrl + A. Then change the position of Root - Ctrl + R:
Now you can change scale in the same way as we did before - Ctrl + S :
But we do not always need Scale, which are used by Bound and Vertex. Sometimes it is more convenient to change the Scale with the usual manual one.
For example, when creating columns. To make them fit in size - I scale them by Z, using the "Bound Scale". Now you can change their width using the "Manual Scale" mod, press Ctrl + Alt + S:
When finished - you can press Esc to exit the mod and apply the scale. And then LMB to create an asset with the correct scale.
